How it works
Getting started is simple
We handle the tech so you and your family don’t have to. Here’s what to expect.
Reach out
Call us, send a message, or have your case manager send a referral.
We get to know you
We talk through your goals, your routine, your home, and what support would actually help.
We set it up
Our team installs and tests everything, then shows you and your family how it works.
Monitoring starts
Remote Care Coordinators watch for alerts 24/7 and respond right away when something comes up.
We stay in touch
We check in, fix anything that isn’t working, and adjust your setup as your needs change.
You pick a backup support person. This is a family member, friend, or neighbor who can stop by in person if needed. If an alert comes in, your Care Coordinator reaches out to you first, then to your backup person or emergency services if you need more help.
Services
Support that fits into everyday life
Every setup is built around the person. Here’s what we can bring into the home.
Fall detection
Knows when something’s wrong, without a camera
A small sensor on the wall picks up movement and position in the room. If it looks like someone has fallen, it sends an alert to a Care Coordinator right away.
- Nothing to wear or remember to charge
- Works in the dark, in the bedroom or the bathroom
- No cameras and no recordings of you
-
24/7 monitoring
Remote Care Coordinators watch for alerts every hour of every day and respond in real time.
-
Vitals monitoring
Easy-to-use devices for blood pressure, glucose, weight, and pulse ox, with readings shared with the care team.
-
Wellness sensors
Door, motion, and help-button sensors that notice changes in daily routines, like a missed morning or a door left open.
-
Virtual check-ins
Telehealth and video visits on a simple tablet, so staying connected doesn’t always mean a trip out.
-
Emergency planning
A clear plan for what happens in an emergency, plus battery and cellular backup options for power and internet outages.
-
Setup and upkeep
We install, test, maintain, and repair the equipment. If something stops working, call us and we’ll fix it.
Our people
Technology spots it. A real person responds.
Sensors are only half of it. Always On Remote Supports partners with Connected Home Living to bring together hands-on local support and a trained team watching around the clock.
Our team
We’re the people you’ll actually meet. We come to the home, set everything up, and stay your go-to contact.
- Installation, testing, and repairs
- Training for you and your family
- Regular check-ins with you and your case manager
Remote Care Coordinators
Connected Home Living’s Remote Care Coordinators (RCCs) are trained people, not an automated system, watching for alerts 24/7.
- Respond to every alert in real time
- Reach out to you directly to check on you
- Call your backup person or 911 when needed

Privacy and rights come first
- HIPAA-compliant monitoring and data handling
- The person decides where devices go, with no cameras for fall detection
- Clear consent and the right to change or stop services
FAQ
Common questions
Is anyone watching me on camera?
No. Our fall sensors don’t use cameras. They pick up movement and position in the room, not pictures, and nothing records video of you. If video visits are part of your plan, they only happen when you start or accept the call.
What happens in an emergency?
When a sensor sends an alert, a Remote Care Coordinator reaches out to you right away. If you need help, they contact your backup support person or call 911. Afterward, our team follows up with you and your family.
What if the power or internet goes out?
We plan for outages during setup. Battery and cellular backup options keep key equipment working, and everyone involved knows the backup plan ahead of time.
Do I have to wear anything?
No. Fall sensors mount on the wall, so there’s nothing to wear or charge. Some people also like having a help button they can press, and that’s optional.
Who installs everything?
Our team installs and tests every device and shows you how it works. If we’re behind schedule or you’d like extra support, a close family member can help with setup, and we’ll walk them through it step by step. We handle maintenance and repairs after that.
How do you protect my privacy?
We follow HIPAA rules for health information, and so does our technology partner. You decide which rooms have devices, and we only share information with the people involved in your care.
Can this be covered by my benefits?
Remote supports are covered by some state programs. Your case manager is the best person to ask. You’re also welcome to contact us and we’ll help you figure out your options.
